The Boss VE-5-RD Vocal Performer has a remarkably user-friendly and accessible design. Boss has equipped this processor with six useful effect types from the renowned VE-20 Vocal Performer, including reverb, delay, dynamics and harmony. The VE-5-RD's practical Favorite Sound buttons give you instant access to your personal favourites, and the Vocal Performer comes with a clamp so you can easily mount it to a microphone stand.
Phrase looping and a power supply of your choice
With the Boss VE-5-RD you can always deliver a multi-layered performance, even if you're by yourself. The Vocal Performer's phrase looping function allows you to overdub your own voice again and again, creating a polyphony of sound. Powered either by batteries or by a separately available power adapter, the Boss VE-5-RD takes your vocals to the next level.

Komt prima geluid uit en oogt degelijk. Display is redelijk simpel in bediening, intuitief in gebruik. Lijkt mij wel onhandig om snel op te zetten bij een gig: het losschroeven en weer vastschroeven van de bevestigingsconstructie aan de micstand vraagt wel enige tijd en geduld.
Ik ben solo zangeres maar met dit apparaat zing ik met super mooie tweede en derde of vierde stem wauw wat een uitvinding.

Voor mijn thuisstudio een perfecte aanwinst, want deze vocal performer kan veel meer dan voor een goede aanvulling zorgen op zang of spraak. Ik gebruik het ook als effect voor synthesizers, dat blijkt bijzonder goed te werken. Ik maar hier zeer unieke geluiden mee, welke geweldig in elektronische muziek klinken. De bediening is super simpel en er zit ook nog eens een looper ingebouwd waar je leuk dingen mee kunt doen. Hoe het zich op een podium voor live optredens gedraagt, weet ik niet, maar het lijkt me een degelijk en professioneel apparaat. Sowieso wil ik niet meer zonder!
